Martin Trost completed his first degree at the Stuttgart University of Cooperative Education (majoring in banking) in combination with a classic banking apprenticeship at Volksbank Plochingen eG. He then studied financial mathematics at the University of Ulm.

From 1995 to 2004 he worked as an authorized signatory at the tax consultancy and auditing company KPMG. After this time, he worked as CFO in the accounting department of a media and telecommunications company as well as in the area of tax planning, company valuation and corporate structuring in Munich, Frankfurt and Berlin.

Martin Trost works as a tax consultant and auditor with a focus on tax structuring and tax optimization, particularly in the areas of corporate taxes, subsidies and state subsidies, asset transfers and cross-border issues.
